Foundation paper piecing is a great skill to use when piecing small, fine, or detailed quilt blocks. For some quilters, paper piecing becomes  a favorite technique.Learning to paper piece is like learning ballroom dancing. You have to perform all your steps in a certain order.

This is a great one day class for people who want to take the next step in sewing! Join Tamara as she introduces you to the basics of beginner foundation  paper piecing.

Materials: This class includes a fabric and pattern  kit (5 different colour ways) to make one 12.5” square star. More kits are available for purchase from $10.

Tools: You will need to bring along the basic class sewing supplies. (Supplies are available for purchase in store)

- Small cutting mat (A3-A4 size)

- Rotary cutter

- Glue pen

- Add-a-quarter 12 inch ruler

- Rotary ruler

- Sewing machine in good working order (bobbins, thread, snips etc)

Date & Time: Friday 1st February 9 am till 3 pm (Tea, Coffee and Biscuits provided, please bring something for a short lunch break)
